About the Position
Our client is looking to quickly recruit an experienced Front End Web Developer, PHP, XHTML, CSS, HTML, JQuery, Photoshop:
Reporting to the Head of Web Development you will be responsible for assisting in the development of whitelabel consumer and client facing websites for some of the largest commercial companies in the UK.
It is therefore vital candidates possess excellent design and programming skills. The company is a fast moving and very energetic environment. You will need to think on your feet, find creative solutions to problems, meet tight deadlines and work in a matrix style across the organisation.

About the Candidate

Skill and requisite attributes are:
Excellent XHTML, HTML, CSS
Good Java Script, JQuery
Excellent creative skills and good knowledge using Photoshop
PHP, MySQL, Apache
Ability to code by hand - W3C-compliant code is essential
Use of SVN version control
Good understanding of cross-browser, device and platform compatibility
Excellent knowledge of web standards
Good knowledge of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines
User-centered web design approach
Ability to work quickly on multiple projects
Excellent time management skills with the ability to deliver high-quality work to timescale and the ability to manage and prioritize own workload.
Creative but practical approach to problem solving.
Confident, personable character, capable of building good working relationships with team members
