Job Description
A leading brand is currently seeking a dynamic and strategic Sales Account Manager to join their Advertising Sales Team. The position is based in their London office and will report into the US based sales organisation.
The role will be responsible for focusing on new business for interactive / new media advertising sales on a specific UK product website. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in online media sales and will excel at working in the media space. The successful candidate will have successfully closed significant media deals with large media planning and buying agencies. The candidate will have contacts in advertising agencies and potentially within the Travel community.
Proactively prospect, qualify, and grow a national advertiser account list
Client prospecting & cold-calling, successful client presentations, proposal development, contract negotiation & execution
Build effective working relationship with Product Marketing team
Develop and cultivate long-term relationships with senior client personnel
Engage and strategize with senior level executives at client companies and agencies to demonstrate how we can deliver value to consumer brands
Identify and understand trends within client markets and industries
Meet quarterly sales targets
Attend and participate in trade show events
The role is paying a basic salary of up 65,000 + a variable bonus of up to 15,000. If this role is for you then please get in touch with me to discuss it further.
