Defence – Real Time Software Developer

• Developing software for wireless communications equipment
• Work within a team on full lifecycle development from requirements analysis through to test and trials support
• As required, work closely with clients to provide support and technical consultancy
• Provide support for sales activities, including client meetings and contribution to written proposals
• Maintaining a balance between fast-paced development of equipment to meet urgent operational requirements and adherence to quality processes
• Breadth of technologies employed including DSPs, embedded microcontrollers and PC applications

Good relevant Degree required.

Skills/Personal Qualities:

• Self motivated and target driven, high productivity & can-do approach
• Strong technical competence in developing software for high-performance embedded systems
• C/C++ essential
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Technical insight – ability to quickly gain an understanding of the system context
